Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse within the Colchester Essex Sexual Health Services.

You will plan, implement and deliver high quality individualised nursing care to the clients attending the Essex Sexual Health Services and will support senior nursing colleagues in the smooth running of the department.

This will be a full time (37.5 hours per week) post working within the opening hours of ESHS. This will include some evenings and occasional weekend work and will be based within the Colchester Town Centre

Main duties of the job

You will have the opportunity to develop and enhance your clinical expertise and innovative practice within the field of integrated sexual health care.

Training opportunities are fully supported and will be provided with the expectation that you will be competent and confident in the provision of frontline clinical care, sexually transmitted infection results and data management, and specific targeted health interventions.

You will be working within a specialist clinical team in a positive learning environment which will enable the development of skills to provide contraceptive intervention and protocol guided sexually transmitted and reproductive tract infection management.
