We have an exciting opportunity to support the development of our Clinical Informatics department & the Trust strategic goal to implement an EPR system. You will work across clinical & non-clinical areas to support a collaborative approach to improve how the Trust works digitally.
We are looking for a highly motivated, innovative & enthusiastic leader who is passionate about enabling safe patient care using digital technology, ensuring a proactive approach to education delivery, playing a key role in the development of the Trust's Digital Training Strategy. You will need to be passionate about technology use in the NHS, see the big picture in relation to positive impact of education on workflow & patient safety. You will support in the development & optimisation of training structure, material & maintenance of digital training environments.
You will support the CNIO & Education leadership team in the compliance of employee training records in relation to the digital system training delivered. The initial 3-6 months you will work as part of the Clinical Informatics team in development of their EPR knowledge & identify a strategy in training delivery in collaboration with the faculty of education.

Main duties of the job
You will be an educator in digital literacy at numerous levels, engaging with the clinical & non-clinical workforce to ensure they have the appropriate skills to carry out the everyday tasks of the professional roles within ESNEFT while promoting the digital strategy.
You will be responsible for facilitating the delivery of digital tools & socialisation of technology within current education & the development of future pathways.
You will build collaborative relationships across several areas, including Clinical Systems team, training & education teams, clinical Informatics, EPR Programme Team, Faculty of Education & act as liaison with all stakeholders. You will act as a mediator and translator in facilitating & designing educational and training processes to be supported through digital enablement.
You will be expected to build a reporting structure as the EPR programme gathers pace in preparation for both Go live training & post implementation clinical induction training, this will form part of the training strategy in consultation with the preferred supplier & aligning their resources.
You will be based at Ipswich or Colchester however will be expected to travel across all ESNEFT sites. There will be an expectation to meet face to face with the EPR team members on a regular basis. Working from home is an option, however will not always be possible.
