Day to day you will work closely with the organisation's IT Service Desk, IT Training Team and Clinical Systems Teams to provide access to end users as well as the maintenance of these access roles and ensuring any changes are made whilst adhering to any national policies and local change management processes. You will also play an important part in ESNEFT's successful implementation of a brand new EPR system by ensuring all RBAC's are accurate and up to date.

Great communication and customer service skills are essential, as well as a technical understanding of RBAC and associated risks within a healthcare setting.

You will be working from multiple sites within ESNEFT but will also have the opportunity to work from home occasionally following a period of on-site training.

There will also be a requirement to carry out Registration Authority duties on-site should the usual Registration Authority service be unavailable, this may include conducting face-to-face appointments for the registration, renewal or unlocking of NHS Smartcards. Full training will be provided on appointment.

  • Carrying out occasional Registration Authority duties, including the identity verification of applicants to allow them to register for an NHS Care Identity (smartcard) using national identity check standards, renewal or unlocking of their smartcards and carry out the appointment on site when a RA Administrator is unavailable.
  • Work collaboratively with the IT Service Desk, Clinical Systems Team and the rest of IT services to provide end users with excellent customer service experience.
