Job summary

An opportunity has arisen to join the trust as a Quality Programme Manager for East Suffolk & North Essex Foundation Trust (ESNEFT).

As the Quality Programme Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of programme delivery within the clinical outcome and quality function of East Suffolk & North East Essex Foundation Trust to agreed quality standards.

As part of the annual Quality Account, ESNEFT sets Quality Account Priorities for which services, divisions and the Trust are accountable to deliver improvements. Alongside this, a Quality Improvement programme has also been established encompassing projects that require particular focus, set by the Chief Medical Director and Chief Nurse.

This post can be based at either our Ipswich or Colchester site but will cross-site working across all ESNEFT sites.

Main duties of the job

  • You will support the Associate Director for QI, Inequalities & Medical Directorate, with oversight of Trust wide quality improvement programmes, offering proactive support in delivering audits and creating action plans with strategic improvement approaches.
  • You will support the Chief Medical Officer across the Medical Directorate in ensuring reporting is timely and accurate.
  • You will offer proactive support in ensuring appropriate strategic planning is in place for the delivery of projects
  • Relationship building with all relevant clinical and non-clinical leads to ensure appropriate governance in place for delivery of targets
  • Provide support to the audit and improvement teams where required.
