We are looking for a Radiology PACS Lead to help manage the PACS IT system in this vital service.
This role is pivotal for this department to realise its potential in an ever growing digital world.
Working alongside both clinicians and IT specialists you will be involved with the management of the Radiology PACS IT system, and leading on the strategic developments, internally and externally for this IT system.
You will possess experience of managing a team, as well as experience of managing and maintaining Radiology information systems. You should demonstrate proven leadership and communication skills, be self-motivated, well organised and have a high standard of professionalism in order to deal with a range of customer stakeholders at all levels.

Main duties of the job
- Manages the daily running of the PACS system to ensure it provides an effective, responsive and patient centred service
- Can assess, prioritise and manage work load of the service
- Set and maintain high standards of appearance and professional attitude with the overview to ensure staff working within area of responsibility also adhere to the same standards
- Maintains patient safety, privacy and dignity
- Communicates at an appropriate level to all service users demonstrating tact, empathy and reassurance, including explanations of the procedure, provision of relevant aftercare information including information on obtaining results
