Hours: Part Time, 30 hours per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working
Are you passionate about improving patient care and experience for some of the most vulnerable individuals in our community? We are seeking a Frailty Operations Manager to join our dynamic Operational Team within the Medicine Division, focusing on the development and delivery of Frailty Services.
About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, friendly, and supportive environment, perfect for those seeking a fresh challenge. The Frailty Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting and improving frailty services across the Division, ensuring high-quality care for patients who are classified as being frail. Frailty services are a critical part of our future strategy, given the growing aging population and increasing complexity of care. This role will oversee and contribute to the development of key services, including (but not limited to):
- Frailty Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC)
- Two soon to be established Frailty Wards
- Stroke Service

Key Responsibilities
- Drive operational excellence across frailty pathways.
- Identify service inefficiencies and lead improvement projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to enhance patient flow and experience.
- Ensure compliance with National Targets, manage Capacity and Demand, and align with the wider NHS strategic context.
- Support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.
