Sister/Charge Nurse
Department Intensive Care Unit
Band 6 £38,682 - £46,580 Per annum, pro rata
Hours: 30 per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working

MKUH Care Unit wants to meet you as an expert critical care practitioner to join our nursing leadership team as a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse and share your skills with ours.
We are a 10 bedded Intensive Care Unit that has recently been refurbished in a University Teaching Hospital managing emergency, elective and paediatric patients from across the region. We are proud to be the home of ICUSteps and hold the principles of holistic care and multidisciplinary rehabilitation at the centre of everything we do.
We will provide a tailored education strategy to complete National Step 4 Competency Framework, access assessor and supervisor training, clinical, teaching and leadership opportunities across the Trust. - Possess 60 credits Level 6 or 7 in Critical care Nursing.
- Possess assessor and supervising training to support pre-registration students in clinical placements.
- Be competent at drug calculation as assessed at interview.

- Understand Health and Safety in the workplace.
