Band 3 - £24,625 - £25,674 per annum, pro rata

You will be required to also work closely with clinical service teams and our hospital visitors.Perform a wide range of duties connected to the provision of support services within the Trust and ensure a high standard of service delivery in relation to the support services functions.

Your primary duties will include the day-to-day management and supervision of a team of support (Portering) staff, monitoring response times and completion of jobs within the time frames stated in the Service Level Agreement.

Shift Pattern:

07.00 - 15.00

09.00 - 22.00

15.00 - 23.00

23.00 - 07.00

Two out of four weekends off. The successful applicants will carry out a variety of cleaning tasks with full training provided.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be required to perform a wide range of duties connected to the provision of support services within the Trust.

Post holders will ensure a high standard of service delivery in relation to the support services functions.

Primary duties will include the day to day management and supervision of a team of support (Portering) staff, monitoring response times and completion of jobs within the time frames stated in the Service Level Agreement.

Liaising with the service users to ensure practices and procedures are maintained to meet demands of the service users and comply with legislation.

Post holders will be required to work without supervision and use a high level of initiative in decision making.

Undertake any training and personal development as required in relation to the job, to meet the demands of the post and changes in law.
