Job title: Trust Doctor (Middle Grade Tier) in Trauma and Orthopaedics

Department: Trauma & Orthopaedics - Surgery Division

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £55,329 - £63,152 per annum depending on experience, pro rata if part-time

Contract: Permanent - 40 hours per week

Applications are invited to apply for a Middle Grade doctor at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The department is seeking an enthusiastic doctor to join our forward-thinking Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery team.

The Trauma & Orthopaedics senior team currently consists of 13 Orthopaedic Consultants, 4 Rheumatology Consultants and 1 Orthopaedic Associate Specialist. The above are supported by a 14-person middle grade tier, including 3 Oxford deanery trainees and a 9 person junior tier. We are a tight knit department with a very social and friendly atmosphere.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will need to work closely with the current Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons, Orthopaedic Middle Grades and multi-disciplinary team within the Orthopaedic department and with colleagues across the Trust.
