Main duties of the job

Your Role:

  • Continue to develop the Trust's digital strategy, aligning it with our vision and values.
  • Act as a professional lead for digital briefing and commissioning within the New Hospital Programme.
  • Foster a digital culture that encourages creativity and innovative thinking.
  • Lead digital change and transformation with a strong focus on service improvements.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the alignment of digital initiatives with business needs.

  • Attained or currently working towards master's level qualification (and/or equivalent practical experience)
  • In depth specialist knowledge of complex digital environments within the NHS and wider industries
  • Digital programme/project qualifications e.g., Agile DSDM or Agile Scrum
  • Better Business Cases Practitioner Qualification or equivalent experience in applying the five-case model to business case writing
  • Knowledge of smart building design and data capture, including BIM, (Building Information Modelling)

Experience

  • Experience of NHS operational and/or clinical management
  • Experience of delivering large scale, complex change management projects and/or service redesign within the NHS environment
  • Specialist experience in the IT industry
  • Operational experience in a senior management role, managing a range of day-to-day IT support services
