Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust

Senior Medical Rostering Adviser

The closing date is 22 March 2026

Job summary

Are you organised, proactive and excited by the opportunity to help deliver real change?

We're looking for a motivated individual to support the rollout of a brand-new Medical E-Rostering system for all medical staff across the Trust.

In this key role, you will work closely with the Medical Rostering Lead to ensure the system is implemented smoothly, used effectively and maintained to a high standard. You'll play an essential part in keeping the project on track -- helping to deliver it on time, within budget and with maximum benefit to clinicians and services.

If you enjoy problem-solving, have great attention to detail and want to be part of a project that will improve efficiency and workforce planning across the organisation, we'd love to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

Working closely with the Medical Rostering Lead, you will help ensure the system is used effectively, kept up to date and fully aligned with Trust policies. You'll support managers by providing clear, proactive E-Rostering reports and analysis, helping them make informed decisions about staffing and rota management.

You will champion best practice in line with the HealthRoster Policy and be a point of support for users across the organisation. There will also be opportunities to deputise for the Medical Rostering Lead, giving you valuable leadership experience in a high-impact project.

If you're motivated, detail-focused and excited by the chance to transform how we plan and manage medical rotas, we'd love to hear from you.
