Medical Rostering Lead

Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Medical eRostering Lead to support the rollout, implementation, and ongoing management of our medical workforce rostering system.
In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively across departments to optimise workforce deployment, enhance patient care, and improve operational efficiency. You will ensure the eRostering system is fully embedded, effectively utilised, and aligned with medical job planning processes to support safe, compliant, and sustainable staffing.
Main duties of the job
- Lead the Trust-wide rollout and ongoing management of the medical rostering system.
- Collaborate with clinical leads, managers, finance, and the Medical Workforce Team.
- Develop and maintain KPIs, reports, SOPs, and training materials for staff.
- Ensure compliance with national and Trust policies, contractual obligations, and safe staffing standards.
- Provide expert guidance, data analysis, and system support to optimise workforce planning.
- Maintain internal communications, including intranet resources and stakeholder updates.
