Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person to join our growing team of Pharmacy Assistants and Technicians. The post holders will be involved in a broad range of activities in the Aseptic Services Unit of the Pharmacy, which will be the primary base.

Main duties of the job
o Assist in the delivery of a safe, effective and efficient aseptic dispensing service inaccordance with the SOP's of the unit. Working under the direction of the senior technicalstaff.o Comply with all requirements for environmental monitoring in the aseptic unit, includingsessional monitoring, daily monitoring, weekly monitoring and less frequent monitoring asoutlined in aseptic unit procedures.o Carry out the essential regular quality assurance program according to SOP's andcomplete accurately any required paperwork.o Complete daily and sessional records of room air pressures, room temperatures andfridge temperatures. Alerting senior members of the aseptic services team of anymeasurements which are outside accepted limits.o Undertake regular cleaning of the aseptics unit according to SOP's. This involves daily,weekly and monthly intensive specialist cleaning.o Assemble ingredients for items to be made according to the worksheet and SOP's, notingdown accurately batch numbers and expiry dates, checking for any particles,discolouration or breakages.o Assist with the operation of specialist equipment involved in the aseptic services unit.o Assist with the completion of all required documentation.
