Job summary
This Band 4 Team leader role is key in providing leadership and support to support our Phlebotomy team.
This role could be perfect for a Band 3 Health Care Support Worker or a health care worker who is looking for career progression and who is keen to learn, whilst being fully supported through our in-house training programme.
We are looking for an individual who has great organisational and IT skills. We would require you to demonstrate past experience of being able to manage a team efficiently with the ability to communicate effectively. The candidate must possess previous experience of managing a team.

Main duties of the job
The purpose of this role is to support the phlebotomy manager to deliver a safe and efficient phlebotomy service. The post holder will provide comprehensive leadership and support to the phlebotomy team, ensuring venepuncture is performed safely and efficiently on all patients requiring blood tests requested by the Trust and our community partners.
