Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and pain-related Complex Cancer Late Effects Rehabilitation Services.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our dynamic and innovative team of healthcare professionals. You will be working with adult clients with persistent pain arising from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and pain related Complex Cancer Late Effects (CCLERS).
This post provides an opportunity to develop therapy skills in adult pain rehabilitation and to deliver the functional rehabilitation programmes which form a core part of the services.
We are a part of the Bath National Pain Services based at the Royal United Hospitals (RUH). We provide highly specialised, residential functional rehabilitation programmes and outpatient reviews. Our services are condition specific National Specialist Services with an International profile.
You will be joining join an established and well respected interdisciplinary team that includes Specialist Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, a Therapy Assistant, a Clinical Psychologist, a Clinical Nurse Specialist, a Clinical Service Lead, a Research Lead and a Pain Consultant.

Main duties of the job
This role will suit an enthusiastic Physiotherapist who wishes to develop clinical expertise in specialist rehabilitation, that includes patients with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and post cancer chronic pain.
You will be working within a supportive interdisciplinary team carrying out assessment and treatment of patients with chronic pain and functional loss.
The role involves one to one assessment, outpatient follow up appointments, individual and groupwork on residential rehabilitation programmes.
The post will be tailored to your learning and development needs as we are a supportive team that nurtures individual professional development and service innovation in a research active environment.
