Job summary

Join us at an exciting time in the Intensive Care Unit at the Royal United Hospitals Bath. We are looking for kind, caring and committed individuals to join us, making a real difference to both our staff and patients.

Intensive Care offers an interesting, challenging and rewarding specialism with opportunities to enhance your knowledge and clinical skills, whilst providing excellent nursing care.

Our Clinical Healthcare Support Workers are integral to our nursing teams. It takes flexibility, commitment and compassion, but in return we can offer you a rewarding career where you can really make a difference and leave at the end of each shift feeling proud of the work you have done to support patients to feel their best.

Many of our Clinical Healthcare Support Workers have progressed to registered Nurses by taking the apprenticeship route while working at the RUH with full support from our team.

Our ICU is a 24-hour service as our patients need care and attention around the clock, therefore we work on a shift basis and you are likely to be given day, nights and weekend shifts, so everyone gets involved working different shifts to ensure our patients receive the very best care.
