Job summary

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our truly interdisciplinary team. This can be part time or full time.

This vacancy provides a career development opportunity for specialist experience in chronic pain, working across the lifespan and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

The Bath Centre for Pain Services is National Service provider, delivering treatment for people of all ages with all types of complex chronic pain.

We offer group and individual interventions and consultation to processionals. Our treatment model is based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy which gives a foundation for creativity and innovation in therapy delivery.

This post has a breadth of clinical work rarely found. While all our service users have chronic pain, people have additional physical and mental health needs found in complex cases.

We have a building specifically designed for our services. This provides a valuable therapeutic environment and a lovely place for the staff. We are the only Chronic Pain Service in the UK able to treat people of all ages with highly complex chronic pain associated disability who requires accommodation and care to be able to participate in treatment.

The team are committed to research and regularly publish and present at scientific meetings. We value staff development highly and have a strong programme to support this.
