An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join a dynamic team of Consultants. The post holder should have an interest in providing General Medical Dermatology services, skin cancer services and Tele Dermatology.

Main duties of the job

The holder of this post will be a 1wte 12 month fixed term Consultant Dermatologist, and will be expected to provide principally a general dermatology service to include acute medical dermatology for inpatients of all ages including children.

The post will be based at the RUH. Flexibility to undertake clinics in different formats will be expected (Tele Dermatology, face to face, surgical lists, telephone and video consultations and remotely held joint clinics). There is flexibility to work some of this activity remotely from home, especially for SPA and admin time.

The appointee is expected to participate in teaching and training of 3rd year medical students from Bristol University, junior Medical and Nursing staff, GPs, Clinical Fellows and Specialty doctors, registrars and other clinical staff groups.
