Job summary
The Business Intelligence Team at the RUH is in the process of migrating reporting from Business Objects through to Power BI. This role is fundamental to that project, and will have responsibility for designing and build new data models to fulfil the reporting needs of the RUH. This will include working closely with key stakeholders to design, build and maintain a foundation and presentation layer within the data warehouse and to create and maintain new Power BI models and associated measures. The successful applicant will also contribute towards the wider team's running and maintenance of the Trusts's data warehouse.
Main duties of the job
The primary focusof the post-holder will beto design build and maintain a foundation and presentation layer within the data warehouse using SQL and to also create and maintain new Power BI models and associated measures.
You will also contribute towards the wider team's running and maintenance of the Trusts's data warehouse.
You will ensure that data provision is both timely and accurate and that all internal and external reporting deadlines are met.
You will ensure documentation and change control processes are in place, accessible and are maintained for all department processes and developments
