You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical knowledge in your chosen area and work towards developing pharmacy-led biologics clinics and prescribing in this area. You will be a key member of the multi-disciplinary team; providing advice and supporting the service provision of biologic medicines to these specialities. The post will encompass all five domains of advanced pharmacy practice, with particular emphasis on research, leadership and education.

Main duties of the job

We are delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional pharmacist, or pharmacists, to join our team as a Specialist Biologics Pharmacist. This exciting new role has been created following investment in the pharmacy department and aims to provide high quality pharmacy input to the Dermatology and Gastroenterology department. You will join a friendly team of pharmacy staff integrated within the multi-disciplinary teams of Gastroenterology, Dermatology and Rheumatology.

The post will mainly be based within the state of the art, pharmacy department at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust. The Trust provides acute treatment and care for a catchment population of around 500,000 people in Bath, and the surrounding towns and villages in North East Somerset and West Wiltshire.
