Job summary

To work clinically as a urology nurse specialist providing a range of nurse led clinics, daily drop-in service and support the department with expert knowledge and skills. Identifying and directing patient referrals from the GP and other sources to the most appropriate clinic. To provide a high standard of evidenced based care for patients with urological conditions. To provide teaching and clinical expertise across the hospital site and community teams with a passion for improving quality.

Main duties of the job

To be able to rotate through a range of nurse led clinics i.e. urodynamics, erectile dysfunction, lower urinary tract symptoms, intra-vesical clinics, catheter clinics and TWOCs. To be able to introduce new clinics if appropriate and required.
