Job summary
We are looking for a conscientious and enthusiastic person to join Medical Records Team on a Full-time Permanent contract.
The post is available Monday to Friday for 37.5 hours per week based at the Information Services RUH site, Bath
You will be responsible for administering and processing patient information flows relating to Subject Access and Medico Legal requests. You will also be encountering and responding to regular information requests from other Organizations across Healthcare and private sectors.
Proven organizational skills and an exacting eye for detail as well as the ability to work within strict deadlines are essential. Good interpersonal skills are paramount as you will be expected to communicate on a daily basis with colleagues both clinical and non-clinical as well as patients and visitors.

The role requires you to have a current right to work in the UK, which enables you to undertake the role without need of sponsorship. Under current UK immigration rules this role is not eligible for sponsorship and it is not possible for the Trust to sponsor applicants for a visa for this role.

Main duties of the job
- Administering and processing Medico Legal and Subject Access Requests (patients)
- Liaising with colleagues (Clinical and Non Clinical), patients and external organizations such as Solicitors, Healthcare Trusts and the Police
- Retrieval of patient records from off-site storage using the 3rd party web portal
- Printing and photocopying patient records in response to Information requests
- Utilizing Millennium Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system as well as Microsoft Excel, and Word on a daily basis
