We have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper to join our Maternity Team on a full time, permanent contract here at the RUH.

As our housekeeper, you will work as part of our vibrant Maternity Team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene on Mary Ward and Bath Birthing Centre.

Main duties of the job

Your work will include:

  • serving and clearing away meals
  • ordering and organising non-clinical stock
  • preparing snacks and drinks
  • communicating with domestic staff
  • reporting equipment/service faults
  • clerical and administrative tasks
  • ordering transport for patients
  • welcoming visitors
  • keeping the ward clean and tidy
  • communicating with women, birthing people and their families
