Lockdown may be a thing of the past, but Covid isn't and the vaccination programme is still very much part of the healthcare agenda. To help us meet the Covid-19 vaccination requirement as well as supporting other important vaccinations, we are now looking to expand our workforce pool to help deliver this vital protection to people living across the Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire area.

As aCOVID-19 Vaccination Hub Administrator you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the day to day running of the vaccination hub
  • Supporting B3 admin staff working in the hub
  • Coordinating the booking of appointments for citizens to receive their vaccination
  • Providing flexible administrative support to the hub management team
  • Handling and processing electronic data
  • Maintaining adequate stocks of equipment required for the hub, including vaccines and required clinical supplies.
  • Ensuring digital records are updated and reports produced in a timely manner
  • Liaising with other staff and citizens to support an effective and efficient vaccination service

Main duties of the job

To be considered for the role you will have experience in a public or patient facing role - prior experience of working on the Covid-19 vaccination programme would be an advantage, experience with basic computer programmes and be available full-time during the Autumn Campaign. Subject to the provisions of the Disability Discrimination Act, you must be able to regularly travel using your own vehicle, across the BSW area.

As the Lead Employer for the BSW Covid-19 Vaccination Programme, you will work through the RUH bank on a zero hour's agreement to support the delivery of vaccines in a variety of setting, including care homes, citizens own homes and in vaccine clinics in the Chippenham and Bath area.
