The post holder will be working as part of a team to support the delivery of high quality Divisional performance along with delivering the best service for patients. They will support the effective delivery of key operational targets and services for the Medicine Division in line with relevant Trust policies, reporting to a Specialty Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your operational management skills. You will need to be innovative in your approach to your role with good interpersonal and organisational skills. This role is fast-paced and rapidly changing, so you will therefore be able to demonstrate resilience in the ability to adapt to the ever-changing demands placed upon you.

Main duties of the job
To lead and operationally support the effective delivery of key operational services for the cancer services in line with relevant Trust policies, reporting to the Deputy Divisional Manager.
The post holder will be responsible for the line management of administrative support staff within the designated area of responsibility, including reception, secretarial and elective booking staff.
To undertake projects across the Division as determined by the Specialty Manager.
