Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 12 month fixed term Band 7 Physiologist to join the Respiratory service at the Royal United Hospital, Bath. We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic respiratory physiologist to join our busy and evolving service.

The Respiratory Department at the Royal United Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (RUH) is a multi-disciplinary service that provides a range of treatments to outpatients and in-patients with respiratory illnesses and associated disability.

Due to retirement we are looking for an experienced Physiologist to join our small friendly team of three Physiologists, one assistant practitioner and our admin assistant. We are a hard working team but are mindful of a good work life balance.

The Respiratory Out- patient Department is located in close proximity to the Respiratory Ward enabling good working relationships between a range of staff.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will assist with the operational and clinical management of the service under the supervision of the Lead Physiologist.

You will need to demonstrate a history of developing services and staff and be committed to providing a high-quality service.

You must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team and have a flexible approach to working practices which may include evening and peripheral clinics.
