Job summary
Royal United Hospitals Bath (RUH) NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a dynamic and forward-thinking Car Parking Manager to manage car parking across the RUH site. The post holder must be comfortable managing directly employed staff and contractors to drive service improvements and innovation. The role will involve communicating with a diverse range of stakeholders at different levels within the organisation consequently; the successful applicant must be confident and articulate.
This post represents an excellent opportunity to enhance the patient, visitor and staff experience. Key aspects of the role will be to deliver the implementation of the Car Parking strategy and policy.
The successful candidate will need to have excellent problem-solving and organisational skills in order to deliver improvements and change that will support the Trust and divisional objectives.
Main duties of the job
The Trust's Estates and Facilities division has a proactive programme to manage its regulatory compliance, and ensure service quality. Primary responsibilities of this role will be to plan, organise, implement and deliver this in regards to car parking. Priorities in this role will be to:
- Manage the day to day car park operations of across the Estate on a busy, acute, Healthcare premises.
- Develop and implement the Car Parking policy and associated systems for both staff and the public, and monitor its effectiveness.
- Provide specialist advice on car parking services to ensure they are developed in a way to be consistent with the Trust's strategic plans and future objectives. Including providing advice in the development of the estate.
- Work with the Sustainability Team to ensure car parking is aligned to the Trusts Travel Plan.
- Be the main point of contact for all car parking issues whether staff or patient and visitor.
- Work with the council and other organisations on car parking strategy.
