Job summary
We are looking for highly motivated individual to fill this part-time position in the Planned Care Research team at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.
The Planned Care Research portfolio ranges from observational studies to interventional clinical trials with this particular role covering studies from the Diabetes and Lipid, Dermatology and Neurology Portfolios.
The post holder will need to be flexible to work in other related areas as demand arises. We may be able to take multiple candidates taking into consideration candidates with current roles in the RUH Bath Research Department.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for recruiting to and co-ordinating research studies in the clinical research portfolio. They will facilitate patient entry into research studies and advise and support the patient throughout the trial. The post holder will be expected to liaise with both internal colleagues at the RUH and external colleagues within the wider healthcare profession and will be expected to ensure best practice is followed within professional and localised guidelines.
