Specialist Clinical Pharmacist - Cancer Services

Job summary

We are looking for a Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to clinically screen prescriptions and carry out final release of products manufactured in the aseptic unit.

Our Cancer Services and Aseptic Services are a great team who have established ways of work and serve both our Chemotherapy Day Unit and Day Treatment Unit.

If you are a pharmacist with at least 2 years' experience of working in oncology and haematology and are looking for an advanced role in cancer services we would love to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

You will provides a specialist clinical pharmacy service to cancer services, including our in-patient ward, chemotherapy day unit and MacMillan day unit.

You will contribute to the provision of the chemotherapy preparation service by clinically screening chemotherapy prescriptions and conducting product approval in the pharmacy aseptic unit.

You will undertake independent non-medical prescribing to provide support to cancer services as directed by the Lead Pharmacist Cancer Services & Aseptics.

You will help develop the clinical pharmacy service to cancer services as determined by the Lead Pharmacist Cancer Services & Aseptics.
