Job summary

We are offering an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, motivated registered nurses to join our team on critical care. Applicants would benefit from 6 months acute hospital experience. Previous critical care experience is not necessary but would be desirable.

This vacancy is for Registered Nurses with full NMC registration in the UK. If you are an internationally trained nurse that has not passed their OSCE (objective structured clinical examination) you will not be considered for this role and will be automatically rejected, so please do not apply.

There will be the opportunity for professional development with an established in-house training programme. This is supported by the unit PDN and two mentors. Nurses can be funded to attend study days and supported through the critical care course or degree pathway.

You will have a period of up to 12 weeks supernumerary followed by clinical support from our friendly nursing team.

Informal enquires and visits welcome.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for innovative and compassionate registrants to join our multidisciplinary team providing specialised high level care to critically unwell patients.

We want people who have a vision for implementing change in order to offer a gold standard service to our patients, whilst continuing with your professional development to continue our work in ensuring we maintain and improve our overall good CQC rating.

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer you the opportunity to be a part of the vision and will provide you with the opportunity to further your knowledge in both the clinical skills required in assessment of our patients with the addition of management of patients with complex needs in order to provide holistic care.
