We are looking for an ambitious, energetic, passionate individuals to join our team.The successful candidates will work closely with the Divisional General Manager and fellow Service Manager within the Medicine Division to support the quality improvement of our patient and staff experience here at the QEH.
You must be able to demonstrate positive behaviours against the Trusts values, forward thinking and determination to support the division to achieve challenging targets alongside delivering significant innovative programmes of change within an NHS setting.
These key roles will require the successful applicant to regularly liaise with service line leads, clinicians, ward managers and support teams to deliver elective and non elective standards.
The role is varied with support provided from within the Divisional Leadership Team, and will provide extensive learning and development both personally and professionally.
Main duties of the job
The key focus of this post will be internal to the Trust, delivering the key objectives and targets of the Division.
As the successful candidate, you will assist in the management of the service areas they are responsible for, ensuring the delivery of key targets within the budgeted resources available.
You will administer clinical governance processes within their areas and assist in the management of risk. Assisting with the operational and financial management for defined service areas within the division, contributing to service planning as required.

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) King's Lynn is located near some of the most beautiful scenery in the UK, along the north Norfolk coast, and not far from Sandringham House.
We provide a comprehensive range of specialist, acute, obstetrics and community-based healthcare services to around 331,000 people across west and north Norfolk, in addition to parts of Breckland, Cambridgeshire and South Lincolnshire.
We have more than 4,000 staff and volunteers, approximately 530 beds, and a helipad for air ambulances. We work with neighbouring hospitals for the provision of tertiary services, including as part of regional partnership and network models of care, such as the trauma network.
In February 2022 the significant progress that has been made at QEH was recognised by the Care Quality Commission who rated the Trust as 'Good' in all of the core services they inspected. They recommended the Trust moves out of the recovery support system (formerly special measures).
