Our amazing team have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join the Rheumatology Team as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team.
The successful post holder will be required to work alongside the existing Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and unregistered staff in the development of the Rheumatology team within the context of the wider Rehabilitation Service.
The focus of this role is the provision of evidence based highly specialised physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients within the speciality with an emphasis on those with highly complex and/or chronic presentation.
You will join a dynamic MDT and work very closely with the rheumatology consultants and specialist nurses.

Main duties of the job
- To use advanced clinical reasoning and a wide range of treatment skills and options to formulate individual management and treatment plan, in agreement with the patient. To review and evaluate patient's condition at each physiotherapy session and to amend the treatment programme as necessary to achieve planned objectives.
- To accept day to day clinical responsibility for the Rheumatology speciality and to organise this efficiently and effectively with regard to clinical priorities, use of time and staff available. To ensure a high standard of clinical care and support by all staff.
- To support service needs and developments within the current political agenda by contributing to the continued professional development of Multi-Disciplinary Team.
- To provide therapy to patients within the Rehabilitation Services as part of an agreed working rota.
