Job summary
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager, to deliver Digital projects to support and enable technology-based transformational change across the Trust. Working as part of the Digital team and reporting to the Head of Digital Programmes, the role will involve the management of multiple and complex projects forming part of the Digital Strategy and delivery programme.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the project life-cycle, including procurement (such as developing Output Based Specification, Invitations to Tender).
You will provide leadership in information technology, process redesign and IM&T enabled business change to enhance service delivery, enable benefits realisation and sustained operational excellence.
Relevant project management experience, application of PRINCE2 (or equivalent methodology), strong influencing skills, the ability to use your own initiative, excellent communication skills in both written and oral media, and a demonstrable record of successful implementation to time and budget are essential for the role.
You will have a comprehensive understanding of the issues challenging NHS Acute Trusts in implementing Digital solutions, which is essential for the post. This is an exciting and challenging role, and you will make a vital contribution to the Trust's continued delivery of its Digital & Data Strategy.

Main duties of the job
To provide leadership to all Divisions in information technology, process redesign and IM&T enabled business change to enhance service delivery, enable benefits realisation and sustained operational excellence.
The post holder will be responsible for all aspects of the project life-cycle, including procurement (such as developing output based specifications and invitations to tender), in addition to performance managing project delivery within agreed timescales and resources. Ensuring that project organisational arrangements are put in place reflecting appropriate project methodology requirements, and to matrix manage project teams drawn from all areas and levels of the Trust. The role will involve the management of multiple and complex projects, and will entail the balancing of changing demands and pressures that may impact project delivery.
Prepare regular reports and deliver these to the Trust Digital Forum and the Trust's Board of Directors, including sub-committees. To administer Project & Programme Boards, and other governance groups as necessary

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) King's Lynn is West Norfolk has a superb unspoilt coastline with pretty villages, all with their own individual charm. The medieval port of King's Lynn has some very interesting architecture.
We provide a comprehensive range of specialist and general acute services to around 331,000 people across West and North Norfolk, in addition to parts of Breckland, Cambridgeshire and South Lincolnshire. We have more than 4,000 staff and volunteers and approximately 500 beds on a single site. Some specialist services and clinics are provided in community facilities, such as the North Cambridgeshire hospital in Wisbech. We work in partnership with neighbouring hospitals for the provision of tertiary services.
In February 2022 the QEH the Care Quality Commission rated the Trust as 'Good' in all of the core services they inspected, and recommended the Trust moves out of the recovery support system (formerly special measures).
