Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) Student Health Visitor | Interviews 5/6/7th May
Hybrid role - 12 months fixed term - Full Time
Join us at Sheffield Children's, where as part of the 0-19 Health Visiting Team, you will help deliver the Healthy Child Programme to children, young people, and families. You'll work in partnership with other agencies to promote and protect health and well-being across the community.

The position is subject to securing funding.
Please note the salary for this position will be capped at the mid-point of Band 5, up to £34,592 per year
Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Practice Assessor, Practice Supervisor, and Course Leader, under supervision you will:

Assess and identify health needs with individuals, families, and communities
-
Support and empower individuals, families and communities to improve their health.

Deliver evidence-based care in a range of settings.

Continuously evaluate and review health related care packages with service users and other professionals.
As a Student Health Visitor, you will:

Complete University-based learning as part of the Sheffield Hallam University SCPHN course.

Complete practice-based learning to meet NMC standards for specialist practice.
-
Build healthcare knowledge with a focus on disadvantaged and vulnerable communities.

Develop skills to provide safe and transformational care within the 0-19 Service.
