We are looking for someone to join our team as a Bookings Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of administrative staff, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, efficient reception and booking service.
You will work with the Operational Support Manager to develop staff and maintain high service standards. A commitment to providing an excellent patient experience and promoting a respectful, inclusive environment is essential.

Main duties of the job
Reporting into the Operational Support Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

Team Supervision & Development:Supervise and help develop a team of administrative staff to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery, following local and national objectives.

Clinic & Appointment Management:Review PTL and clinic data to ensure follow-up for waiting list patients, accurate referral registration, and appointment management. Ensure adherence to department procedures for patient reception and appointment bookings.

Clinic Utilisation & Scheduling:Prioritise and target vacant clinic slots based on the Trust's 18-week position. Oversee clinic management and staff understanding to maximise clinic utilisation and prevent booking capacity loss. Adjust clinic templates for medical/clinical leave to reschedule appointments within Trust waiting time targets.

Collaboration & Support:Monitor clinic bookings, outcomes, room bookings, and interpreter/transport requests, collaborating with other teams to ensure processing. Manage interpreter bookings, ensuring consistency with contract and eligibility procedures.

Data & Documentation Accuracy: Ensure accurate recording of clinic attendance and RTT data, implementing corrective actions when necessary. Create and update appointment letters to ensure accuracy and completeness.
