Join our dedicated team in the Haematology and Oncology unit, where we deliver safe, compassionate care to children with haematology and oncology disorders.
As a Senior Clinical Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for patients and their families. You'll help maintain a safe and reassuring setting, working closely with a collaborative team to support children through their journey.

About You
- You'll be confident working with children and families, using initiative, and supporting a multidisciplinary team.
- You'll bring experience from a care or health & social care setting ideally in a hospital or community environment.
Main duties of the job
Reporting into the Clinical Department Manager or Supervisor, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Support the multidisciplinary team in delivering safe, effective care to children on Ward 6.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and child-friendly environment.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and care of children on Ward 6.
- You will also contribute to the smooth running of the unit by supporting stock management, equipment checks, and administrative duties as required.
- Take capillary bloods (training given)
