Sheffield Children's are currently seeking driven and enthusiastic individuals who are looking to further their Healthcare experience and career in Pharmacy.
Through a structured training package you will receive both on-the-job and academic training to support you to become a fully skilled Band 3 Senior Pharmacy assistant within 18 months.
As a Senior Pharmacy assistant you'll be at the very heart of everything.
We are a Real Living Wage employer. Candidates who do not yet meet the essential qualification requirements, and require a period of on-the-job training, will be appointed under Annex 21 terms and conditions, receiving a Real Living Wage top-up during training. Once qualified, you will move to the starting point of Band 3, continuing to receive the Real Living Wage top-up.
About You
- GPhC accredited certification for practicing as a pharmacy assistant
- NVQ level 2 Science manufacturing process operative or willing to work towardsor willingness to work towards this qualification under Annex 21 terms and conditions.
Main duties of the job
Reporting into the Senior Pharmacy Technician - Aseptic Services some of your responsibilities will include:

Prepare a range of aseptic products including CIVAS, TPN, cytotoxics, and ATMPs

Assemble and process trays for manufacture, including quality checks

Manage and label worksheets accurately

Participate in quality management and assurance activities

Support senior technicians in daily operations
