An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Housekeepers on Ward 1, a busy surgical ward caring for children aged 0-18 with a wide range of surgical conditions.

As a Housekeeper, you'll play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the ward by assisting the nursing team with essential non-clinical duties. Your contribution will help ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, families, and staff.

About You

  • Functional English and Maths qualification or equivalent

Main duties of the job

Reporting into the Ward Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain cleanliness in both patient and non-patient areas

  • Monitor and order stock and supplies as needed

  • Coordinate the provision of meals, drinks, and snacks

  • Support the wider multidisciplinary team in delivering excellent care
