We're tackling poor oral health head-on, and we need your help. Join our passionate team to lead the delivery of a new dental pathway supporting children across Sheffield, many of whom face barriers to basic dental care and hygiene.
This 12-month role offers the chance to make a real impact on children's wellbeing, working within the Healthy Weight & Nutrition Team to address inequalities and promote better oral health outcomes.

About You:

An NVQ in either relevant health or social care study at level 3 or evidence of an equivalent level of knowledge and skills and experience

Experience of working with Families, children and young people.

Hold a driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this post due to the requirement for regular travel
Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Provide support to children and families aged 0-19 under supervision of the HCP team

Assist in delivering the 0-19 Service Specification, with a focus on the dental health pathway

Work directly with families and engage in community outreach to raise awareness of dental health

Promote public health initiatives across schools and local venues

Deliver agreed interventions in various settings including clinics, schools, children's centres, outreach venues, and homes
