Sheffield Children's Hospital is a leading specialist paediatric centre, and our Pharmacy Department delivers a progressive, patient-focused service across the region--making it a truly rewarding place to work.
We're excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly and forward-thinking Aseptics Team.
As we continue to expand our aseptic services, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of advanced therapeutic medicinal products, emerging therapies, and clinical trials.
About You

GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician

Experience in aseptic services, with a strong understanding of GMP and quality systems

A proactive approach to supervision and coordination in a clinical setting

A commitment to continuous improvement and patient safety
Main duties of the job
Reporting into the Lead Senior Technician, some of your responsibilities will include:

Prepare, process check, and coordinate aseptic products including CIVAS, PN, cytotoxics, and ATMPs

Assemble and verify trays for manufacture; write, label, and check worksheets
-
Ensure accurate costing and tracking of materials and consumables
-
Contribute to quality management and investigate deviations

Support senior technicians in daily operations and staff training

Manage day-to-day activities and assist in writing procedures within the aseptic unit
- Support staff training and development within the unit
