Are you a passionate and experienced senior children's nurse ready to take the next step in your leadership journey? We're offering an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Haematology & Oncology Daycare Unit as a ward manager.

About You

  • Ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical, organisational, and communication skills, with a passion for inspiring others and advancing paediatric haematology and oncology care.

  • Must hold RSCN qualification and have current NMC registration.

  • Existing experience at senior Band 6 or above

Main duties of the job

As Ward Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of the Daycare Unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care. You'll work closely with the Lead Nurse for Haematology & Oncology and the Inpatient Ward Manager, providing cross-cover and contributing to service development.

This is a demanding yet rewarding role that blends operational management with professional leadership. You'll be a key driver of change, innovation, and excellence in care.
