An exciting development opportunity has arisen for an experienced Staff Nurse to join our dynamic 524 Clinical Site Management Team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of patient flow, ED targets, and the challenges affecting timely admissions across the hospital.
You will be expected to cover both day and night shifts, as well as working weekends and bank holidays to cover the rota. Please discuss a possible secondment opportunity with your current manager prior to applying.

Experience of venepuncture and cannulation is highly desirable, but not essential, as you will have the opportunity to develop these skills.
Main duties of the job
Reporting into the Division of S&CC Matron, some of your responsibilities will include:

As the on-site senior nurse and 524 bleep-holder. you'll coordinate emergency admissions, manage patient flow, and support critical hospital operations including staff deployment, security incidents, and clinical emergencies.

You'll also ensure audits and daily returns are completed efficiently.

Other duties include managing staff deployment, security incidents, fire & cardiac arrest events and other clinical skills. You will also ensure various audits and other daily returns are completed in a timely manner.
