Sheffield Children's Hospital is proud to host one of the UK's leading Paediatric Emergency Departments and Major Trauma Centres. With a reputation for excellence in emergency and trauma care, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our dynamic team.
You will help lead and coordinate care within our Emergency Department. You'll manage a caseload of children presenting with minor injuries and illnesses, ensuring holistic care. You'll also support the department manager and contribute to the strategic development of our services.
About You: You are a motivated, innovative nurse with a background in paediatric emergency medicine and trauma. You enjoy mentoring others, and are committed to delivering outstanding care. You'll bring:

RN Child or RSCN qualification (Degree or Diploma level)

Teaching, Mentoring and Assessors qualification

Main duties of the job
Reporting into the Ward Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for children in emergency settings

Coordinate ward/department activity and deputise for the departmental manager

Lead a caseload of patients with minor injuries/illnesses, ensuring holistic care

Support and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of learning and excellence
