We are looking for a dynamic and experienced person to join our senior management team as Deputy Divisional Manager for the Medicine A Directorate. You will oversee a diverse portfolio of specialist services including Cardiology, Diabetes, Cystic Fibrosis, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Respiratory, and more. You will support clinical leadership and help us achieve operational excellence across the division.

About You: You are a proactive and inspiring leader with exceptional management skills. You hold a master's degree or equivalent management experience and have a track record in navigating NHS policy, delivering complex change, and managing budgets and resources. Your collaborative approach allows you to engage successfully with colleagues across the Trust and the wider health and care system.

Main duties of the job

Reporting into the Associate Director of Operations, your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and enhance the management clinical pathways and service delivery

  • Guide workforce planning, service development, and business case preparation

  • Ensure safety, quality, and governance standards are met and maintained

  • Manage budgets to achieve financial targets and promote fiscal responsibility

  • Support improvement and innovation projects

  • Foster engagement and collaboration with clinical and non-clinical teams
