Sheffield Children's is home to one of the UK's leading Emergency Departments, known for delivering high-quality care. We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior Clinical Support Worker to join our Emergency Department and Acute Assessment Unit (ED/AAU) team. You'll help support care delivery to children, young people and their families at often challenging and emotional times.
What We're Looking For:

Experience in a healthcare or social care environment, ideally working with children and young people.

GCSEs A-C in English and Maths (or equivalent Level 2 qualifications), and Vocational Award Level 2 in Health
-
Able to work both day and night shifts, including weekends, rotating across both ED and AAU.

Main duties of the job
Reporting into the Ward Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Work alongside registered nurses to deliver clinical care within defined competencies.

Support the assessment, care planning and monitoring of patients.

Perform delegated clinical tasks safely and effectively.

Support administrative and IT processes, manage stock and maintain clean, safe equipment and environments.

Contribute to a positive patient and family experience at every stage of their care.
