Permanent | 22.5 hrs per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Neuro/Oncology Therapy Team at Sheffield Children's. You will deliver specialist care to infants, children, and young people with newly acquired brain or spinal injuries, or cancer, across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings--including patient homes and the acute hospital.
You'll be part of an experienced, supportive, and forward-thinking team, developing valuable skills and professional growth through child-centred, multidisciplinary care.
What you'll bring:

Knowledge of therapeutic procedures gained through a combination of formal training, short courses, and experience to Diploma Level 5 or equivalent or Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care or a Level 5 Apprenticeship

Experience in health or social care and delivering therapy programmes

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Main duties of the job
Reporting into the Team Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Deliver tailored therapy and rehabilitation programmes using play, positioning, and physical activity

Promote the health and wellbeing of children and young people using evidence-based practices

Support treatment planning and review in partnership with registered professionals

Monitor and record outcomes, contributing to high-quality care

Work collaboratively within a supportive and dynamic multidisciplinary team
