Bookings Coordinator (Internal)

Job summary

Permanent | Part-time: 30 hrs per week - Internal applicants only

We are looking for a Bookings Co-ordinator to join our busy CAMHS Mental Health Support Team. You will manage appointment bookings, handling telephone enquiries in a contact centre environment, and ensuring appointments align with Trust waiting time standards. You will also use rotas and run reports from IT systems to support smooth operations.

You will enjoy being in a team environment, with the confidence to work independently, be customer focussed and a confident communicator. An organised approach, with competent IT skills is necessary .

You will be based at Centenary House (S6) with a requirement to cover at other sites, if needed.

Main duties of the job

Reporting into the Operational Support Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide administrative support to a multi-disciplinary clinical team during the assessment stage of the patient journey.

  • Prioritise workload to ensure appointments are booked following Trust waiting time standards and Patient Access Policy, with guidance from the Team Leader/Admin Manager when needed.

  • Follow defined procedures to optimise clinical capacity and help the Trust meet local and national waiting time targets.
