An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy team at Sheffield Children's. This is a great chance to become part of a compassionate, supportive, and progressive team, committed to delivering high-quality care to children and their families.

You'll play an important part in the smooth running of outpatient services, providing a warm welcome at reception and delivering efficient administrative and housekeeping support across the Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Neurophysiology, and ME/CFS/Post-Viral Fatigue services.

About You:

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent experience

  • Experience in administration and customer-facing environments

  • Confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office applications

Main duties of the job

You will report to the Business Administrator, and your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide a welcoming reception service to children and families attending the department

  • Perform daily administrative tasks including appointment bookings, record-keeping, and communication with internal and external teams

  • Help to maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment, escalating issues

  • Contribute to improving service delivery and supporting colleagues during absences
