An exciting opportunity has arisen on the Neonatal Surgical Unit (NSU) for a Clinical Nurse Educator to help implement the Qualification in Specialty (QIS) in neonatal critical care.
You will work with the Clinical Education Team in collaboration with the Clinical Lead Nurse to help develop staff education within neonatal critical care, ensuring the highest standard of patient care is delivered.

Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Ward Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Provide professional nursing and operational advice on factors affecting care delivery.

Develop training programmes in collaboration with the MDT to enhance nursing practice.

Deliver education, training, and practise development.

Be a clinical role model, offering support and expert knowledge to nursing colleagues.

Maintain links with educational institutions to support ongoing learning and development.
