We're looking for an experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our well-established and experienced Neuro-disability/ADHD nursing team at Sheffield Children's. You will help provide specialist care to children and young people (and their families) with ADHD and Neuro-disabilities, as part of a large, dynamic team.

We are looking for a motivated and organised person with a genuine interest in Neuro-disability and ADHD, who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to children and families. You will have experience in a relevant paediatric setting, with exposure to education or community-based care.

Essential Qualifications:

  • RSCN, RN (Child), RGN, or RMN qualification.

  • Educated to Diploma or Degree level.

  • ENB 998 or equivalent teaching certificate.

Main duties of the job

You will report to the Lead Neuro-disability Nurse, and your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement care plans and provide tailored advice and support for children and young people with Neurodevelopmental conditions, including ADHD, and their families.

  • Provide information, education, and advice to patients, families, and healthcare professionals within the clinical specialty

  • Be a key contact for children and their families, offering ongoing support.
